Desalinate groundwater with solar energy
Red Sea - Arab Today

Wael Abdel-Moez, a chemical engineering professor at Minya University, has stressed the importance of scientific research as the only means to achieve comprehensive development in Egypt.
Abdel-Moez, during a visit to Halayeb and Shalateen on Saturday, said scientific research can also lead to solutions to guarantee a decent life to residents of this area.
Quick scientific solutions are needed to solve problems that hinder the development process, Abdel-Moez told MENA.
He pointed to an Egyptian system used to desalinate groundwater for drinking and agricultural purposes, noting that this system depends on solar energy.
Abdel-Moez made it clear that 50 percent of the components of the system are home made.
