Cairo - Mohamed Ammar

Egyptian tour guide Sahar Maged said that a new kind of tourism has emerged and attracted the attention of tourists from all over the world which is the mountainous tourism. She explained that the tourists who prefer to take this kind of tourism like to visit mountains.

She added, in a statement to “Egypt Today”, “Indeed, the reason for the spread of this type of tourism is the United Arab Emirates after the construction of Burj Khalifa, the largest tower in the world, after which France began lighting the Eiffel Tower and allowed visits to the large extent. Egypt began to take the same step in the Cairo Tower, and began to illuminate.”

She stressed that every country in the East or in the West has turned its attention to the heights of both highland and mountainous heights, so that Australia has begun to organize trips to visit its forests with high trees.

She added that Morocco has started to build a number of hotels on its heights and tourists like to visit them so much, saying that some countries have exploited this new type of tourism, to promote it on their map of tourism
