Egypt submits request to host Tokyo 2020 qualifiers

Minister of Youth and Sports Khaled Abdel Aziz wrote on his Facebook page that Egypt will submit Thursday an official request to the executive office of the Confederation of African Football, CAF, to host the Under-23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, which is scheduled to take place in December 2019.
Abdel Aziz added that the request will be submitted on the sidelines of the CAF symposium currently held in Morocco from the 17th to the 21st of July.
