Egyptian coach Hossam Hassan
Cairo - Mohamed Hussein

Egyptian coach Hossam Hassan of Egypt's Al Masry football team expressed his keenness to keep his position until the end of the coming season. He revealed that he decided to renew his contract with the team to win a championship and to meet the aspirations of Port Said's fans.

He added, in a statement to "Arabs Today", that he refused a number of offers from Egyptian and Arab teams to remain in Al Masry for this reason, expressing his appreciation to the fans who supported him since the beginning of his tenure.

He revealed that he received an offer from Qatar's Al Sad in addition to other offers from national teams of both Iraq and Syria, adding that he received another offer from Ismaily.

He blamed the recent conditions witnessed in the team, saying that these coditions are major reason behind the consecutive defeats. He added that a large number of players have been injured during the recent matches.

He added that the team aspires to buy seven players after the end of this season, including two goalkeepers and three African players, adding that they will abandon three players.
