Cairo - Egypt Today

Lebanese General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces said Tuesday that it had arrested a terrorist Daesh network of five Syrians, based between Beirut and Mahalla Dora.
The investigation revealed that the main coordinator of the network, who was born in 1992 admitted his affiliation to terrorist Daesh group in Damascus and that he received military training in Tayibe area, then moved to the Syrian city of Mayadin to fight in Daesh's ranks.
He also admitted that he arrived in Lebanon in late 2016 and that he continued to coordinate with Daesh prominent leaders in Syria, adding that he was instructed about three months ago to recruit people in Lebanon to join Daesh.
The suspect explained that this was the reason for coordinating with one of Daesh prominent leaders in the countryside of Hama in west central Syria.
Furthermore, he pointed out that he was able to recruit four people who embraced Daesh extremist ideology, according to the investigation.
All suspects were referred to the military court for trial.
