Sisi issues law on 2017-2018 FY state budget classification

Under the 2017-2018 budget, expenses will stand at about EGP 1.207 trillion.
About EGP 239.955 billion will be earmarked for salaries and compensations.
About EGP 52.065 billion will go for purchasing commodities and services.
About EGP 332.727 billion will be allocated for grants, subsidies and social benefits.
Investments and purchase of non-financial assets will stand at about EGP 135.431 billion.
About EGP 265.390 billion will be allocated for repaying local and foreign debts.
State Revenues are estimated at about EGP 834.622 billion.
Tax revenues are expected to reach EGP 603.918 billion.
