Dr Anwar Gargash
Dubai - Egypt Today

Issuing a terror list of Qatar-linked 59 individuals and 12 entities is an opportunity for brother, Qatar, to revise their policy. It is an opportunity to change the direction and keeping away from stubbornness and escalation, Dr Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs tweeted on Friday.
The core of the problem is supporting extremism and terrorism, and the list raises embarrassing questions that revolves around a suspicion, which cannot be interpreted as independent and rejecting the mandate, he said.
In a series of tweets, the minister spoke about how Qatar's policy is hurting the region's stability and that they should review their policy.
"The problem can be solved through diplomacy and not turning to the Iranian or Turkish allies. The point is to move ahead and address the issues, which concern the brotherly Gulf nations about a policy that targets their security and stability.
"The terror list is an evidence of a policy that sought a position of influence, which is a mere mirage. But showing courage and taking the lead in reviewing and evaluating is the right thing, not walking on a 'zig zag' road."
Dr Gargash said that other Gulf nations did not want to escalate the situation and urged Qatar to 'put out the flames targeting the region'.
"I, personally don't think we are following a policy that aims at escalation. The objective, as I see it, is to evaluate and put out the flames that target the region. The substitute path is separating the ways - between the two camps of moderation and incitement.
"Despite the difficulty of the crisis in the Arab Gulf, there is clarity. It is difficult to deal with a 'double standard' partner, who undermines the its' partners."
