Manama - Egypt Today

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has stressed that Bahrain will always be in good hands, and remain safe thanks to the wisdom of its leadership, the high awareness of its people and the efficiency of its security and military authorities.

"Bahrain has faced challenges with determination and succeeded in overcoming them by the strong will of its leadership and people. Let it be known to those with hidden expansionist ambitions, and supporters of acts aimed at creating problems and subverting security and stability in the region that their attempts have been confronted by national unity and security vigilance, and are doomed to fail," he said.

HRH Premier emphasised that terrorism, no matter how strong it becomes, the law is stronger than it, and the group that has adopted sabotage and treachery will not be able to undermine the security and stability of the country.

The government will never remain cross-handed, nor will it deal with terrorism in a reactionary manner, but will carry on its measures that besiege terrorism, dry up its funding resources and prevent it from implementing its malicious schemes, the Premier affirmed.

The Prime Minister made the statements as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace today Royal Family members, with whom he exchanged cordial talks on local, regional and global issues.

HRH Premier highlighted the importance of sports events in strengthening relations among peoples.

In this regard, HRH the Prime Minister recalled with pride the efforts exerted by the Kuwaiti Amir, HH Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, to ensure the success of the 23rd Gulf Cup which reflects the progress of sports across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
