Israeli settlers uprooted fruitful olive trees

Extremist Israeli settlers on Sunday uprooted dozens of olive saplings as well as stole olive crop belonging to Palestinians from the village of Tell, to the south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to witnesses.
Mohammad Asida, a farmer, said he was astonished when he found that settlers had destroyed 50 olive saplings and trees and stole the harvest of another 50 trees in his farm, located outside the illegal outpost of Havat Gilad near the village.
He said his farm would yield 30 boxes of olive oil annually.
Meanwhile, settlers razed a land near the village of Wad Rahhal, south of Bethlehem city, in order to open a bypass road to serve only illegal settlers in the area, a rights activist said.
Hasan Burajeya said settlers’ bulldozers proceeded to raze the said land in order to open a road linking the illegal settlements of Efrat and Givat Eitam.
