The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, continued its support to the Civil Defence in the district of Al-Mukalla in Hadramaut by providing the necessary equipment as part of the UAE’s efforts to improve living conditions in Yemen.

Ahmed Al Neyadi, Deputy Head of the ERC team in Hadramaut, highlighted the UAE’s support during the handover process, which was attended by Col. Saeed Jaj Abdulreheem, Director of Civil Defence of the Hadramaut Coast, and Khaled Salem Dahdah, Deputy-Director of Readiness Affairs. He said that the assistance of the country comes through the establishment of infrastructural projects, service centres, and government institutions.

Abdulreheem thanked the UAE for its help to the humanitarian and services sectors, including the civil defence in Hadramaut. He stressed the importance of the logistical support provided by the country to local authorities in various crucial fields concerned with the security of the people.
