French Ambassador to Egypt Stephane Roumtier said that he assumed his duties in Cairo three weeks ago, stressing that he would work on making relations between the two countries closer.
France and Egypt shared the same goal of facing terrorism, he said, asserting that his country would be side by side with Egypt in security and economic success.
He pointed out to the French companies working in Egypt, saying they have great potentials.
