Sisi envoy meets Hamas leader in Gaza

The envoy of Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el Sisi to the Palestinian territories, Khaled Fawzy, met on Tuesday with head of the political bureau of the Palestinian movement of Hamas Ismail Haniyeh and the movement leaderships in the Gaza Strip.
They discussed Egypt's good offices for ending Palestinian division and achieving reconciliation as the envoy expressed Egypt's resolve to achieve reconciliation.
The Egyptian envoy had met in Ramallah with Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas and stressed to him Egypt's keenness on achieving reconciliation.
He also met Palestinian Prime Minister Ramy al Hamdallah and showed a video message from Sisi to the Palestinian factions on the importance of unity.
