Sources revealed that Lebanese actress Haifa Wahby considers currently a new offer to participate in the Egyptian cinema after resolving her problem with Egyptian cinema producer Mohamed Al Sobky, saying that she received a new offer to return her again to Egypt’s popular districts. They added that the new role will be a surprise for all of her fans in all over the Arab world.
They underlined the current attempts to ease the tension between the Lebanese actress and the Egyptian producer, saying that the participation of Lebanese actress in the Egyptian cinema is a top priority for her to prove his ability to storm Egypt’s cinema despite Sobky’s domination.
The crisis of singer Haifa Wehbe escalated with producer Mohammed al-Sobky with no solution. It is on rise, as there is a development happening day after day between them. During the last period, Mohammed al-Sobky file a complaint against Haifa in actor syndicate because she failed to complete filming his new film "One Second", in addition to her cooperation with his brother Ahmed al-Sobky and appearance with him as a guest of honor in "Khair We Baraka" film.
Actor Samy Maghawari, who is in charge of the complaints committee at actor syndicate, confirmed that the complaint was transferred directly to the artistic advisor and then to the Committee of Wise Men, represented in the head of acting professions, actor Ashraf Zaki, and film industry's chamber. "There are measures to resolve the issue from all parties," Maghawari added.
Claims of Egyptian producer Mohamed Al Sobky that he paid over two million EGP to Lebanese actress Haifa Wahby in return for her participation in a new film titled “One Moment” have been refuted by the actress who confirmed that she returned the money. She said that he paid 400 thousand EGP.
Sources revealed that Lebanese actress Haifa Wahby clashed with Egyptian cinema producer Mohamed Al Sobki due to her refusal to resume filming her role in a film that was supposed to be presented during the latest season of Eid Al Fitr. They added that she refused to resume the filming of her role, as she was preoccupied in filming her role in “Al Herbaya” TV drama show.
She wrote, in her Twitter account, “I decided not to participate in the new film ‘One Moment’ due to the bad dealing of the producing company. I apologize for the staff, aspiring to meet with all of them in coming works
