Al Quds Waqf department decides to close all mosques Friday

The Islamic Waqf department in occupied East Jerusalem has decided to close all mosques on Friday, urging worshipers to perform prayers in the vicinity of Al Aqsa Mosque instead.
The department demanded that Israel stop atrocities against the holy Al Aqsa Mosque and all Muslim sanctuaries.
Setting electronic gates at the mosque will only weaken the peace process, the department said.
Cameras have also been installed on rooftops of Al Aqsa Mosque, it added.
