Oman participates in Arab Trade Federation conference

The General Federation of Oman Trade Unions (GFOTU), will participate in the second conference of Federation of Arab Trade Unions on Wednesday in Marrakesh.
The Omani delegation will be headed by Nabhan bin Ahmed Al-Batashi, GFOTU Chairman, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
The report on the Rules of Procedure (Examination of Data) and the approval of proposals for amending the Basic Law will be presented during the conference.
A workshop on the prospects of trade union media in the Arab region in cooperation with the Danish Federation of Trade Unions will be presented, and a workshop on the participation of youth in the Arab trade union organisations in cooperation with the Norwegian Trade Union Federation and a workshop on the role of trade unions in combating 'forced labour' in cooperation with the Belgian Trade Union, in addition to a workshop on the role of trade unions in promoting social dialogue in the Arab region.
