President Ali Mohsen Saleh
Aden - SPA

Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh discussed in Riyadh on Saturday with Yemeni Minister of Industry and Trade Dr. Mohammad al-Maitami the role of the industry and trade sector in reviving the national economy, according to the official Yemeni news agency.
The meeting tackled the ministry's efforts under these hard economic conditions in coordination with local authorities.
He touched upon the President's speech he delivered on Friday about the concerns and demands of the people and his directives to the Yemeni people to build the Federal Yemen of six regions.
Vice President valued the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for supporting Yemen and the Saudi deposit of USD 2 billion and supplying power plants with fuel.
He pointed to Houthi plots of failing peace efforts and Geneva Consultations and to Keenness of the Political Leadership under President Hadi on realizing peace based on the three peace references for ending suffering of the Yemeni people.
He stressed that all officials shoulder the responsibility of protecting the value of the local currency and the national economy in this difficult stage, pointing to support of brothers and friends to Yemen in these difficult conditions.
For his part, al-Maitami reviewed a report on the ongoing work in the ministry of industry and trade and efforts of activating its offices for contributing in improving national economy and people's living conditions.
