The Free Syrian army thwarted three attempts for regime forces to progress in districts in the Syrian desert near eastern As Suwayda countryside, Syrian military sources, quoted by Sky News channel, said Tuesday. 
The sources added that both parties exchanged bombardments in As Suwayda countryside as the regime forces seek to progress towards the borders with Jordan.
