Air strikes on Raqqa leave 20 civilians dead

At least 20 civilians, including women and children, were killed Thursday in air strikes on the Syrian village of Zour Shamar in the eastern countryside of Raqqa city, northeast bank of the Euphrates River.
The air strikes were most likely carried out by the US-led international coalition, Sky News reported.
Syrian warplanes bombed trucks loaded with arms and ammunition belonging to Daesh terrorist group in east of Raqqa, killing a number of militants who were guarding the trucks, local sources told Sky News.
Meanwhile, the Syrian Observatory For Human Rights (SOHR) said clashes between the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Daesh militants were still ongoing in southwest of Raqqa.
SOHR pointed out that one of Daesh members has carried out a suicide attack during the clashes.
