The world's biggest container ship crossed the Suez Canal on Friday with 171,357 tons of cargo on board. As many as 54 ships carrying about 3.052 million tons transited the waterway today, said Mohab Mamish, chairman of the Suez Canal Authority, in statements. The south-bound convoy included 26 ships and carried 1.463 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 28 vessels and carried 1.588 million tons.
