Seoul - Yonhap
South Korea will frontload its budget spending during the first half of this year as part of efforts to consolidate the pace of its economic recovery, a senior finance ministry official said Monday.
"Recently, our economy has been showing signs of gaining momentum in its recovery, but external uncertainty including the U.S. tapering risk remains still high," Vice Finance Minister Lee Suk-joon told in a meeting with other officials to discuss the government's fiscal policies.
