South Korea's industrial output grew at the fastest pace in 54 months in December, raising hopes that economic conditions might be rebounding from a prolonged slump, a government report showed Wednesday. According to Statistics Korea, production in mining, manufacturing, gas and electricity industries expanded 3.4 percent last month from November.
