Japanese electronics maker Sharp said Tuesday it would sell about $808 million worth of new shares to Taiwan\'s Foxconn as part of a liquid crystal display (LCD) panel tie-up. \"Our firm\'s unique devices and technological strength, coupled with (Foxconn parent firm) Hon Hai\'s manufacturing strength and scale, should allow us to introduce attractive products and services in timely fashion,\" Sharp\'s incoming president Takashi Okuda said in a statement.
