South Korea's top telecom authority on Friday slapped the country's three mobile carriers with 45-day business suspensions for providing illegal subsidies in defiance of repeated government warnings. The Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning said the mobile carriers will be banned from collecting new subscribers for a period of time between March 13 and May 19, with two mobile carriers being suspended simultaneously.
