Sales at South Korea's major discount outlet chains dropped significantly from a year earlier in February with sales of department stores also shrinking slightly, the government said Thursday. Combined sales at the country's three major discount outlet chains plunged 23.1 percent from the same month last year in February, according to the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
