Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing the collaboration of the two entities on human resource training and development of U.A.E. nationals skills and qualifications. Professor Eric Fouache from Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and Mrs. Marianne Conde Salazar, Director of International Relations for Higher Education with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris, Ile-de-France, signed the agreement. The agreement includes a series of training programmes carefully designed to face the existing challenges of the workplace and provide the necessary skills to take advantage of available opportunities through an extensive scheme that will help equip local job seekers with the essential tools to enter the job market. In addition, the cooperation will pave the way to the development of specific plans for local leaders and managers and for U.A.E. nationals of all levels to achieve their full potential, exceed the expected results and administer the required support for their staff. Professor Fouache, Director of Paris-Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, said, "The programme aims at equipping high-level executives and U.A.E. nationals with the basics of management and build their skills in human resource, finance, marketing and leadership while providing valuable insights into the most recent theories and best practices of those fields. "The courses of the programmes include a comprehensive range of business topics to be taught by world class faculty members from the University and the Chamber of Industry '&' Commerce. Their objective is to explore business strategies and models, and link the concepts with the realities of the business", he added. The training will include both individual and group work with the support of the Chamber's business schools and collaboration of many highly professional trainers. According to Professor Fouache, "The programme offers many professional benefits to participants as it helps them advance and expand their horizons in the face of work challenges and pressures, while enhancing their management skills with the possibility of learning first hand from a number of global Chief Executive Officers."
