The New Brunswick government is raising user fees in an effort to generate an extra $6 million in revenues.
Finance Minister Blaine Higgs says the increases are needed to help address the provincial deficit, which is forecast to be nearly $546 million this year.
He says the suggestion to increase fees came during his pre-budget consultations.
The increases affect everything from vehicle registrations to fees for camp sites in provincial parks.
It will also cost people more for a licence to be a private investigator in the province.
Higgs will present his complete provincial budget in March.
