Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) signed a scientific cooperation agreement with Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT), Europe's biggest technology research centers.KISR said in a statement on Wednesday that the institute's Director General Dr. Naji Al-Mutairi, and (VVT) representative had signed the agreement Tuesday night, during a meeting which showcased the institute's history, work system, projects, and its local, regional, and international achievements.The agreement includes research cooperation in petroleum, renewable resources, building, environment, waters, and exchanging academic experiences, said the statement. The institute had set a strategic plan to cooperate with the world's prominent scientific centers, noted the statement, adding that the institute had already signed various international agreements which had a positive effect on executing projects in the country.
