The government of Japan has pledged USD 49,000 to the Upper Egyptian province of Qena to help buy a mobile clinic to serve residents of six villages of Qus Township.Japanese Ambassador to Egypt Toshiro Suzuki and board chairman of the feminist association for the development of rural women in Qena Hoda el-Awari will sign the grant contract on Tuesday.The project is part of a five-year Egyptian initiative for integrated development which aims at creating development and sustainable job opportunities in southern Upper Egypt, a statement by the Japanese embassy in Cairo said.
