The gold price in Hong Kong closed flat with 12,230 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society. The price is equivalent to 1,322.95 U.S. dollars a troy ounce at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.76 HK dollars.
