Seoul - Yonhap
Very few South Korean firms have become global brands in the last decade in sharp contrast with a rise in the number of such companies from China and other large emerging economies, a report by a South Korean lobby group for large conglomerates showed Monday.
According to the Federation of Korean Industries (FKI), few South Korean companies made the Fortune Global 500, Financial Times Global 500 or Forbes Global 2000 lists of corporate rankings last year.
