At 9 a.m., the dollar was quoted at 101.44-49 yen compared with 101.40-50 yen in New York and 101.23-25 yen in Tokyo at 5 p.m. Wednesday. The euro fetched 1.3533-3537 dollars and 137.32-39 yen against 1.3529-3539 dollars and 137.25-35 yen in New York and 1.3509-3511 dollars and 136.76-80 yen in Tokyo late Wednesday afternoon.
