Damietta Port

Damietta Port received over the past 24 hours six ships, including two container ships and four cargo vessels, Damietta Port Authority Media Center said in a statement on Wednesday.

The statement added that five ships left the port, including three container ships and two cargo vessels.

Meanwhile, 13 ships anchored outside the port until finalizing their entry procedures, it said.

Also, two trains loaded with 2,630 tons of wheat and 107 vehicles carrying 5,641 tons of wheat left the port, the statement read.

The port's grain silo is currently containing 162,530 tons of wheat, along with 28,588 tons at the private sector's stores, according to the statement.
