The peace and security council of the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA) hailed the implementation of the road-map in Egypt. The council welcomed the approval of the new constitution as a major step in implementing the road-map which was announced after the ouster of president Mohamed Morsi in June. The meeting of the council was held before a COMESA summit where Foreign Minister Nabil Fahmy is heading the Egyptian delegation.
