The economic conditions in Egypt are continuously improving and the economic performance of the government is going well, affirmed Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawy during the Council of Governors meeting on Sunday.
Beblawy also underlined the importance of promoting the notion of decentralization within the administration.
The council, meanwhile, reviewed a report submitted by Supply Minister Mohamed Abu-Shady about the stock of goods and food commodities.
He said that all the food commodities, petroleum products and gas are available at markets.
Local Development Minister Adel Labib and Education Minister Mahmoud Abul-Nasr tackled a report on the schools that need to be established.
The council was also briefed on the efforts exerted by the governments in allocating the necessary plots of lands to set up schools in each governorates.
Furthermore, Health Minister Maha el-Rabat talked about the bird flu and assured citizens that conditions are stable and the ministry is taking all the necessary measures to spot any new bird flu cases.
