The average unit price of a South Korean-made car is expected to surpass the US$15,000 mark for the first time this year, mainly due to more upper-end cars being shipped abroad, a local automobile association said Wednesday.
According to the Korea Automobile Manufacturers Association (KAMA), carmakers such as Hyundai Motor Co. and Kia Motors Corp. plan to release the brand-new Genesis premium sedan and K900 flagship model in select overseas markets in the coming weeks
