Fifty-one ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo of 3.4 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 20 vessels carrying around 1.4 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 31 ships laden with about 2 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
