Minister of Local and Administrative Development Adel Labib said on Sunday that the slums development fund is currently financing the development of 23 unsafe slum areas in nine governorates with a total cost of EGP730 million. The projects will be conducted in Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Port Said, Damietta, Minya, Aswan, Red Sea and Suez. The projects aim at providing better services for the citizens including improving sanitation, paving and lightening, said the minister.
