Exchange rate of the US dollar against the Kuwaiti dinar dropped to KD 0.281. The euro; however, increased to KD 0.375 compared to Thursday\'s figures, said the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Sunday. The exchange rate of the sterling also went up to KD 0.453. The Japanese yen remained unchanged at KD 0.003 and the Swiss franc rose to KD 0.307. The euro jumped up due to expectations that the European Central Bank was considering cutting interest rates.
