Singapore stocks finished higher on Thursday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 60.88 points, or 1.91 percent, to close at 3,248.92. A total of 2.05 billion shares changed hands with a turnover of 1.53 billion Singapore dollars (1.21 billion U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers 352 to 106, while 492 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 9.41 points, or 0.3 percent, to close at 3, 188.04 on Wednesday.
