Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 14.26 points, or 0.45 percent, to close at 3,155.47. A total of 2 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1 billion Singapore dollars (781 million U.S. dollars). Decliners led gainers 292 to 121, while 535 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 22.61 points, or 0.72 percent, to close at 3,169.73 on Friday.
