Singapore stocks finished higher on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 26.78 points, or 0.88 percent, to close at 3,055.72. A total 3.85 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.24 billion Singapore dollars (974.1 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered losers 293 to 161, while 501 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 9.09 points, or 0.3 percent, to close at 3, 028.94 on Friday.
