A total of 3.30 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1. 42 billion Singapore dollars (1.12 billion U.S. dollars). Decliners outnumbered gainers 251 to 188, while 514 others finished unchanged. The STI index lost 27.74 points, or 0.85 percent, to close at 3, 220.92 on Thursday.
