Singapore stocks finished lower on Monday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) down 12.34 points, or 0.38 percent, to close at 3,241.79. A total of 2.02 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 825.9 million Singapore dollars (651.3 million U.S. dollars). Losers outnumbered gainers 278 to 161, while 517 others finished unchanged. The STI index gained 10.84 points, or 0.33 percent, to close at 3,254.13 on Friday.
