The Qatar Exchange in the green area Monday adding 111.96 points (1.17%) to advance to 9,652.67 points from 9,540.71 Sunday. The volume of the shares traded increase to 5,832,141 from 5,425,732 on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR307,139,471.19 from QR244,042,487.53 Sunday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 3.16% to QR169.70, Barwa Real Estate gained 0.37% to QR27.20, Qatar Electricity and Water up 2.11% to QR164.80 and Qatar Fuel increased by 2.29% to QR268.00. The Banking and Financial sector index increased 1.51 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 1.91 points and Industrial sector up 0.44 points.
