The Qatar Exchange in the green area Monday adding 13.56 points (or 0.15%) to advance to 8,794.67 points from 8,781.11 Sunday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 6,285,754 from 6,875,685 on Sunday and the value of shares decreased to QR272,209,042.18 from QR305,808,185.98 Sunday. Among the top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 0.18% to QR166.30, United Development Company rose 1.48% to QR18.50, Islamic Holding gained 2.53% to QR34.45 and Al Meera up by 3.52% to QR147.00. The Banking and Financial sector index added 0.13 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index up 0.55 points. The industrial sector rose 0.30 points while insurance sector dropped 0.08 points.
