Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend on Thursday adding 44.30 points (0.44%) to advance to 10,109.50 points from 10,065.20 on Wednesday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 9,968,322 from 12,169,730 on Wednesday and the value of shares increased to QR444,368,459.14 from QR408,666,515.96 Wednesday. Among the top gainers were Industries Qatar which was up 0.63% to QR161.00 , Commercial Bank of Qatar gained 0.43% to QR70.10, International Islamic Bank gained 4.56% to QR59.60 and Qatar Islamic Bank up by 2.36% to QR73.80. The Banking and Financial sector index was added 0.33 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 0.08 points. The industrial sector was gained 0.46 points while insurance sector down 0.20 points.
