Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Wednesday, adding 23.26 points (0.25%) to advance to 9,332.89 points from 9,309.63 on Tuesday. The volume of the shares traded fell to 2,214,900 from 3,707,377 on Tuesday and the value of shares decreased to QR111,706,401.43 from QR156,642,023.36 Tuesday. Among the top gainers were Qatar National Bank which was up 0.31% to QR159.50, Industries Qatar rose 1.02% to QR158.80, Barwa Real Estate gained 0.18% to QR27.10 and Al Meera up by 0.60% to QR133.70. The Banking and Financial sector index up 0.12 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index gained 0.23 points and Industrial sector rose 0.46 points.
