Qatar Exchange pursued its upswing trend Tuesday, adding 19.17 points (0.20%) to advance to 9,671.84 points from 9,652.67 on Monday. The volume of the shares decreased to 5,323,782 from 5,832,141 on Monday and the value of shares decreased to QR 233,378,041.38 from QR307,139,471.19 Monday. Among the top gainers were Qatar Telecom (Ooredoo) which was up 2.62% to QR133.40, Masraf Al Rayan rose 1.98% to QR28.30, Doha Bank gained 0.73% to QR48.45 and Almeera up by 0.65% to QR139.20. The Banking and Financial sector index up 0.09 points while Insurance sector index down 0.17 points and Telecom sector rose 2.11 points.
