The Qatar Exchange down on Wednesday 223.68 points or 2.29% to 9,547.73 points from the previous closing of 9,771.41 points. The volume of the shares up to 19,135,397 from 12,288,715 on Tuesday and the value of shares increased to QR770,460,833.87 from QR534,689,263.43 Tuesday. Among the top losers were Industries Qatar whose share dropped 2.16% to QR154.00, Masref Al Rayan lost  2.57% to QR28.40, Doha Bank fell 0.37% to QR53.30 and Vodafone Qatar down by 1.65% to QR8.94. The Banking and Financial sector index was dropped 1.80 points while Consumer Goods and Services sector index lost 2.55 points. The industrial sector was down 2.17 points while insurance sector fell 0.73 points.
