The volume of shares traded fell to 6,296,827 from 7,068,621 on Thursday, and the value of shares decreased to QR271,100,933.02 from QR305,136,397.06 Thursday. Among the top losers were Qatar National Bank whose share dropped 0.1.18% to QR168.00, Barwa Real Estate lost 1.30% to QR26.65, Commercial Bank of Qatar fell 1.44% to QR68.40 and Masraf Al Rayan down 0.53% to QR27.95. Today the Qatar Banking and Financial sector lost 0.63 points while the Service sector fell 0.25 points. The Qatar industrial sector lost 0.03 points and Insurance sector down 0.03 points.
